As his first official initiative upon becoming president of the Society in 2026, Bryan A. Garner launched an ongoing oral-history project focused on the lives, careers, and contributions of Society members. The effort documents, preserves, and shares the experiences and work of those who have helped shape the intellectual life of Texas.
